Processed Engineered Fuel or otherwise known as PEF, is the comprised waste materials left over as a result of our sorting process. These materials are then manufactured and converted into a sustainable and reusable high-quality fuel source that is significantly better than fossil fuels and landfill emissions.

The Process

  1. Shredding the material to less than 40mm.
  2. Compacting the material into 1 tonne bales.
  3. Wrapping the bales in plastic film for transportation, to prevent any materials from escaping during transportation.

The PEF we now manufacture is supplied for use Adelaide and Malaysia, as a partial replacement for coal. This alternative fuel manufacturing is a great step towards the reduction of fossil fuel use and harmful landfill emissions. We are proud to be the only manufacturer of PEF in New South Wales.
